Recap: Wedding countdown


Jill and Derick are seeking marriage counseling from Jim Bob and Michelle. Jim Bob reveals that he is still trying to make sure that Derick is right for his daughter. One of the books that the family recommends is getting ready for marriage workbook by Jerry Hardin and Dianne Sloan.

JIm Bob and the kids are heading to buy furniture for the house which the family has been fixing up for the past two years. Jim Bob and Michelle recently asked Derick and Jill to live in there until it's sold. Derick reveals that she has the better eye for making sure that everything will look good for their house since he had to work.

Jana reveals that they are trying to make sure that they spend a lot of time with Jill before she gets married.

Derick is looking back on the fact that they are only holding hands but tomorrow they will be living together and being a married couple for the first time.

Jim Bob and Michelle give the couple a tour of the house. Derick knows that there is enough room to start their family.

Michelle remembers their first home and how it's compelte opposite of Derick and Jill's first house. Jill is very excited about starting her first home. Michelle knows that her daughter is going to love it and do great.

The family and Ben are helping moving in the furniture that they picked. Jessa reveals that her boyfriend knows how to take directions and is always making sure that they are doing things right. Jessa reveals that she wants a small house for both her and Ben when they get married.

Just like Josh and Anna's reenactment of their engagment, Michelle has Johannah and Jackson pretend to be Derick and Jill while Jennifer and Jordyn pretend to be Jana and Joy Anna. Jeremiah is the musician that song the song. Josie decides to be the police offcer who asked Derick and Jill to use another sidewalk as they enter the park. He did not know that the engagment was being filmed.

Jill rushes to pick up the first wedding guests which are Josh and Anna along with their children. They can't believe that the wedding is just a couple of days away. Josh heads over the car dealership to borrow a car for the wedding. Jill makes a special request to her brothers and sisters to not to make a mess but Josh reveals that he won't be honoring that request. It's become a duggar tradition.

Jill brings Jana, Jessa and Jinger to the new house to put the finishing touches which is to decorate the house. Two days before Jill says I do, The girls heads to get their nails done by Jill's friend.

Jill reveals that this is one of the last things that she will get to do as a Duggar as her last name. The bridesmaid are trying on their dresses to make sure that they will look right and Jana is putting the last touches on the groomsen and the users outfit. Jill heads to pack her things into boxes while the family and friends start to get to the house.

  1. I've watched every step you've taken and I've waited for the Wedding Day just how much longer will we have to wait? I thought I'd see you married before I heard that you were expecting. I know how silly it sounds, but for us in T.V. land we are still waiting for the first part. Please tell TLC that if I hear another 1 hr. Special on Tue. and it's not the Wedding I'm crossing them off my T.V. list to watch.
