This is one of our hardest recaps that we have had to do this season. We know that children are a blessing from God. There are no words that can explain what Jim Bob and Michelle and their family are going thou.
The show starts out at Jubilee's funeral about the family getting ready to say goodbye to Jubilee. The show then goes back three weeks where we see Michelle and Jim Bob take the children and grandchildren to the Today show to make the announcement of the 20th child. They show us and talked about how Michelle takes care of her body and diet during this pregnancy. Up next, Michelle and Cindy visited Arkansas Children's hospital with Josie and Jana. The doctor and nurses that took care of Josie are glad to see an almost 2 year old Josie a healthy toddler walking, talking, and blowing kisses.
The next part of the show feature the Duggars choosing baby names. Michelle believes there is only room for one Jim Bob in this family and then Jim Bob adds and in the world. They do add the name for the boys list. Jedidiah thinks that it's gonna end in a disaster because the kids are adding names alot faster then Michelle and Jim Bob can write them down on paper.
The names were for the boys: Jarvis, Joel, Jim Bob, Jefferson, and Justice
while the girls names were: Jenelle, Juile, Jenessa, Jane, Jenesis, and Jubilee
The next day, The parents head to the doctor office to find out if it's a boy or a girl. The soundman, Bill, will be keeping the secret until he announces the gender to the whole family. However the Ultrasound techncian searches for it's heartbeat. The parents remember that they could tell by the look on her face that something was wrong. The doctor reveals that the baby is gone and there is not a heartbeat.The doctor measures the baby only at 16 weeks and one day but Jill remembers hearing the baby's heartbeat at 17 weeks and 4 days leaving the family unsure about when they lost the baby girl. Jim Bob and Michelle pray for their 21st child at the doctor's office. Once they are home, they gather the children and revealed that they have 19 kids on here and 2 children with the Lord. Jim Bob goes around and gives his children hugs and comforting them. The family decides to go ahead and name the baby. Jubilee was born on Decemeber 11, 2011. Three days before the stillbirth of Jubilee, Michelle opens up to God and to her daughter. Michelle mentions that she looked like a little duggar, in just a smaller form and that they are so grateful for the time that God gave them. Jim Bob and Michelle gather their family and friends to celebrate their daughter's life. They also invite their pastor who counseled them as teenagers and married them twenty-eight years ago to speak. After the memorial service, the family gathers at a local cemetery to bury their daughter. Michelle opens up that they needed closure to be able to say goodbye to their daughter. Michelle also chosen the butterfly to symbolize their daughter's short life.
The part of the epsiode that they did not show was that in between from finding out that they had lost the baby, Josie turned two years old. Along with Jordyn-Grace turned three years old. Michelle also reveals that the baby that they lost between Josh and Jana and John-David was named Caleb!
The family chose the song that Josh song to Anna at their wedding as saying good bye to Jubilee which was I will carry you.
