Grandbaby #10: 18 weeks pregnant

We were going to share this update later this month but decided to share it today. We are so excited to share that Joy has updated fans on her pregnancy since announcing the pregnancy on August 30th.
Joy stated on her Instagram that the baby is a size of a bell pepper which puts her at 18 weeks pregnant. It also means that the baby should arrive late February/Early March!

This month, we will be doing some baby games (example: Birthday guesses, Gender predictions, name predictions and birth stats) so please be on that look out for those.

  1. I found this when Jill was 19 week: https://www.christiantoday.com/article/jill.duggar.and.derick.dillard.celebrate.pregnancy.halfway.mark.with.new.baby.bump.photo/42337.htm
I think Jill was even bigger.
And if Joy is 18 weeks, it means that they can find out the gender now!!! Hopefully they will reveal it soon!!

    1. Hi Anonymous, We were going to do a side by side with Jill, Jessa and Joy in tomorrow's blog. Jill is bigger than Joy at this point. She might have a big baby like her sister.
As far as gender goes, they might be waiting until the baby's birth but we will have to wait and see

    2. Jessa at 20 weeks was smaller. There is a pic of Jessa at 25 weeks -- that;s how Joy looks now. But of course they are all different. I think the main issue here is that people question that Joy did not have sex before marriage. I personally think that they would not do that. They had short engagement anyway, so they knew it was not too long to wait. It is a big deal. I doubt they would go against their beliefs.

  2. First time mothers do not feel the baby kicking until they're 20-25 weeks along. If she wasn't pregnant before she was married, why aren't you releasing her actual due date like you did for the other girls?

    1. You can feel the baby any time from 16 weeks to 25 weeks. They are choosing to wait to release the due date. A family friend has said that the baby is due in late February.

    2. Not true first time mothers can feel the baby move they are most likely going to blow it off as gas or something as to a more experienced mother is going to know its her baby kicking

    3. Do some research because first time mothers can feel theirs at 16weeks.
