Israel's newborn photo shoot part 1
Back when Israel was first born, Derick and Jill went to get their son's newborn photos. We will be posting some more soon.

Jill Dillard just took her test and passed it. From what Jill said it took seven hours to do her test and she managed to pass it.
Jill is now CPM. She hopes to use her midwife skills to help other mamas in labor to have a natural child birth.

Dillard family update!
Derick and Jill came back in early September for about a month. Derick and Jill wanted to make sure that they get some business items done and then spend time with friends and family before going back to the mission trip.
Derick revealed that Jill was planning to take her test this month to become a midwife. Derick says that he is super proud of her because of all the work that she has put in.Derick and Jill were commissioned by their church and look forward to get back to Central America in October.
What is Anna's homeschool Curriculum?
Many of the fans are asking about how Anna teaches Mackynzie and Michael?
Mackynzie is almost six years old while Michael is now four years old.
This is what she had said:
"I use Math-U-See for math, and I absolutely love it! Michael is doing the Primer, and Mackynzie is doing the Alpha. It's great because it has the blocks, so they have a hands-on way of learning, and there's a little DVD that comes with it, so they can watch their five-minute lesson and then do their work for the week. It's a great resource for me because I am able to be there as a guide, but I don't have to explain the concepts.
I use Sing, Spell, Read,and Write with Mackynzie. She reads the basic words very well. It's fun to see her read little stories to the boys.
And then I use a lot of other random things. For writing practice, I find worksheets online. I really like the websites where you can download the dotted font and make your own worksheets. It's fun to do a little verse or phrase."
Anna also recommends The Child's Story Bible by Catherine F. Vos.
