The family celebrated three birthdays this month. Jana and John David turned 29 while Joseph turned 24.
The Seewalds announced that they were expecting their third child in late Spring.

Recap: Joy gets engaged
Derick and Jill invite Derick's side of the family over to the guest house. They are getting ready for another short visit to Central America before baby #2 arrives. The couple decides to give Derick's mom their keepsakes for right now until they return. The couple announces their son's name which will be Samuel Scott. They say that Samuel was the first judge of Israel and it also means hears from God. Jill has a lot to do on her to-do list and has the girls come over to help her. Derick decides that it's time to cut his hair since it's viewed differently in Central America so he has his wife cut his hair. Derick thinks that it's going to be hard to adjust to short hair again. Jill reveals that she is sad about the haircut but also like changes.
Jinger decides to put together a care package to send to her family back home. She buys many things like clothing to food. When the package arrives to the Duggar family home, everyone is thrilled to get it. They are missing Jinger so much.
It's time to see the Dillard family off. Jeremiah says that it's hard to see one sibling missing. Derick and Jill film a small clip on the way down to Central America. When they arrive to Central America, they are greeted by many friends and it's a joyful reunion.
Austin is getting ready to propose to Joy since now his house just sold. He enlist the help of his father and Aaron, who is a close friend, to haul the items that he needs for the proposal. They managed to get everything ready.
To keep Joy distracted, Jessa has her come over to help with the kids. Jessa says that her sister is great with the little ones and loves helping. Joy reveals that they have both agree to allow God to control the size of their family. Right before the proposal, Joy returns home to pick up Jennifer and Johannah since she thinks that it's a horseback riding outing. Austin says that she makes him feel complete and calms him down. After they have been riding for a while, Austin has them stretch their legs and ask the girls to run ahead. Austin blindfolds Joy to head to the proposal site. He asks her to marry him and she says yes. The ring has a diamond in it that has been in the family for five generations.
Austin's father appears and gives the couple a big hug before allowing the couple to enjoy the dinner cooked by his friend, Aaron.
Later on, Joseph heads to ask Kendra's father permission to start courting and he agrees to it. The boys reveal that they have been praying and talking about entering a courtship for a while.

Recap: Jill is having a
Derick and Jill are about to go and find out if they are having a boy or a girl. Derick and Jill reveal that they have two names picked out for their first child. They picked Israel which means God will prevail and a girl name Selah which means pause and reflect.
The couple picks up Jill's buddy team (Joy-Anna, Jennifer, and James) to find out what they are going to have. Joy reveals that they are still close to their sister even thru she got married. Joy adds that they just added Derick to their team.
Joy is excited about being able to hear and learn what the baby is going to. Everyone is excited and it's crazy to find out about the baby. They learned that the baby is going to be a boy and now it's time to reveal the gender.
Everyone is getting ready for the gender reveal party that will happen right when Duggars arrive. Derick and Jill want to include Derick's mom on her first grandson since she is away for treatment.
Derick and Jill bring out a pinata which is a shape of question mark. Starting with the youngest one, they take three hits and everyone is so happy when the blue paper comes out and along with candy. Jim Bob and Michelle will have three grandsons and one granddaughter.
Derick's brother heads to surprise his mom at the hospital where she learns the gender of the baby by the color of the balloons and flowers. Derick and Jill sit down to video chat with Cathy and Dan and invited Jim Bob and Michelle to share with the chat.

Recap: Michelle's High School Reunion
Cindy comes to visit and heads to work out at the gym. Michelle and Cindy text each other every morning to get encourage to work out. Michelle remembers how she struggled with her eating disorder during High School which the oldest daughters put it in their book "Growing Up Duggar".
Ben and Jessa have the little kids help put the address labels on their wedding invitations so they can get out in the mail. Sierra comes over to make more plans for Ben and Jessa's wedding day.
Jim Bob and Michelle load up some of the kids into the van to head over to Michelle's 30 year high school where the kids learn a lot about their mom.
It's time to celebrate Johannah's 9th birthday. Jim Bob and Michelle take their family and friends for a horesback riding which is prefect for Johannah.
"Johannah is a very tough girl," says Jessa. "She kind of has a tomboy side to her. But she's also very girly."

Recap: Wedding Prep and Pies
Michelle heads to help Jason and James make casseroles for Ben and Jessa's rehearsal dinner. Michelle doesn't think that they will be good since their cooking style is more of survival. Jessa reveals that her brothers pies were amazing.
Josh decides that he is going to take the kids to the music stores for their first lessons after making lunches for the kids. Mackynzie is excited to play the tiny violin while Michael is going to learn the piano. After the lesson, the kids enjoy the drum set that is there.
Ben and Jinger are heading to the White's Jewelry to desgin Jessa's engagement ring. Ben is excited to see Jessa's face.
Duggar girls head to the Flowerama to pick out flowers. Jana knows that her sister doesn't have a plan for the flowers yet and pick up a new skill with the business.The little girls are decided about blowing the flowers then make them.
"These last moments together as sisters are kind of bittersweet," says Jana. "We are definitely cherishing these moments and just enjoying making these memories together before Jessa gets married."

Recaps: Bridesmaids and Babies
Ben and Jessa are heading to the church where they will be getting married. Jim Bob and Michelle are heading over with them to meet Sierra who is doing Ben and Jessa's wedding planning. Sierra was the one that also did Derick and Jill's wedding in June.
Jessa reveals that they are hoping to get a small crowd at her wedding where Derick and Jill had 1700 guest or more.
The ladies at the church are shocked to learn that the family wants to use the church for both the ceremony and the reception. They ended up having it outside in the church parking lot.
Jessa asked her older brother Josh to make the wedding invitations since he did Jill's wedding invitations.
Jinger heads out with Ben and Jessa along with Joy and Johannah to take photos of the couple.
"You had to be creative with showing that affection without a lot of hands-on," says Jinger.
While in the middle of it, Jim Bob and John David drive by and honk at them.
Jessa's bridesmaid dresses arrive in the mail and all the girls are a little hesitant. Jessa chose the "Ellie" Modest Dress in Coral Rose, which costs $50 per gown. Michelle gets the dresses steam so the girls can try them on when Josie sings "Here comes the bride, all fat and while."
Jana reveals that she doesn't like the dress but comes ot to show her sister. Joy reveals that it's hard to find a dress that will fit 10 different people and still look good. The dress comes to the calf and it's awkard lengt which means that they are going to need to do some alterations to make them work.
"When it comes down to it, if you really want to do something else, I'll just leave it with y'all," Jessa says. "You can return them all and order your own dresses. I'm not really picky. It would be nice if they stuck with the dresses that I have chosen, but I guess we'll see.
Derick and Jill are heading off to see their baby for the first time at their midwife appintoment. Jill is learning how to do midwife and is 12 weeks pregnant right now. Jill reveals that she has a lot experience since she has been doing the practice for the last four years and admit that it's different now that she is pregnant.
Jill and Derick head over to Joy Coonfield who will be deliever Baby Dillard this month. Derick and Jill revealed that they did not want to go with the midewife that Jill works with is because they want to keep her work separate from her pregnancy. Jill reveals that she has had all day sickness.

Recap: Jill says yes to the dress
Jill boards the plane to DC with her sisters (Jana, Jessa, Jinger and Joy-Anna) along with their mom to shop for her dress. Jill reveals that she is really nervous about her upcoming wedding. Michelle reveals that she is excited to see her daughter in a wedding dress and now it's time for it too happen.
Jana reveals that there might be more siblings and wedding coming up that they are going to be doing a lot of wedding dress shopping.
While they are in DC they think that it's the prefect time to meet up with Anna and the kids. While at breakfast, Jill asked Jana to be her maid of honor and asked her other sisters to be her bridemaids (Johannah will be a bridemaids. Jill reveals I chose Jana as my maid of honor because growing up, we've always been really close.
Anna was not expecting to be in the wedding party at all. Jill and the girls arrive at Ava Laurenne Bride where she gets the princess treamtement. The girls give Jill their special notes. Jill starts trying on dresses and finds the prefect dress. The dress fits her prefect.
Back home, Jim Bob loads up John David, Derick and Ben to go on a camping trip. Jim Bob gives the boys some marriage advice to both Derick and Ben. John David reveals that his father has tried to set him up but John David feels that he has not feel like he found the right one. The Boys head rock climb where they say that John David is the most expendable one because he doesn't have someone yet. Jim Bob says to his son that they would all miss him too much.
The boys decided that they wanted to jump off the cliff. Derick and Ben jump however Jim Bob takes a couple minutes but John David did not want to do it.
Jim Bob reminded that he has 19 kids and doesn't think that they could lose their father.
Derick reveals when he jump he saw his life flashed before his eyes.
When their trip is almot done, the boys go down the zip line. Jim Bob reveals that both Derick and Ben passed their test and reveals that he only has seven more daughters to go.

Duggar dirty Jobs recap
Derick and Jill head to buy their wedding bands from White Jewelry which is the same place that Jim Bob and Michelle brought their wedding rings from about 30 years ago.
Ben is the only none Duggar child to live on the family property. Ben knows that he has responsibilities before God and to Jessa's dad not make any mistakes.
Jessa reveals that one of the bad things about her boyfriend living so close to their home that she has to look her best.
It's time for Ben's first day of work and Jim Bob sends John David to work with him. They are set to fix the fence however they did not have the right supplies and the boys get a box of donuts. The next job is to put windows. Ben reveals that this is all new to him. Jessa reveals that it would be nice to have a handy husband while Ben thinks that it's not necessity and that other guys have different strengths in areas.
The last thing for Ben's jobs list is to clean the bathrooms. John David reveals that the only reason that his father allowed him to move is to prepared him to support Jessa and any kids that they will have.
Grandma and Michelle take Joy Anna and many of the little kids to paint pottery for Derick and Jill. Jackson is excited about the wedding. Joy reveals that it sad to watch her older sister move out since they are buddies and slept in the same room many years.
