A Christmas baby for Ben and Jessa
A Christmas blessing has arrived!
Ben and Jessa have welcomed their 5th child into the world. This baby is Ben and Jessa's tie breaker for either a boy or a girl.
Before we announce what the baby is: The couple has two boys (Spurgeon and Henry) and two girls (Ivy and Fern).
The baby is a boy!

Duggars Easter Celebration
As we celebrated Easter either in Quarantine or not, the Duggars took to their social media to share photos of their Easter!
Ben and Jessa shared a new photo of their children. Henry is 3 years old, Spurgeon is 4 years old and Ivy will be 1 year old in May 2020.
Jana shared a new photo of herself celebrating Easter.

Recap: Joy gets engaged
Derick and Jill invite Derick's side of the family over to the guest house. They are getting ready for another short visit to Central America before baby #2 arrives. The couple decides to give Derick's mom their keepsakes for right now until they return. The couple announces their son's name which will be Samuel Scott. They say that Samuel was the first judge of Israel and it also means hears from God. Jill has a lot to do on her to-do list and has the girls come over to help her. Derick decides that it's time to cut his hair since it's viewed differently in Central America so he has his wife cut his hair. Derick thinks that it's going to be hard to adjust to short hair again. Jill reveals that she is sad about the haircut but also like changes.
Jinger decides to put together a care package to send to her family back home. She buys many things like clothing to food. When the package arrives to the Duggar family home, everyone is thrilled to get it. They are missing Jinger so much.
It's time to see the Dillard family off. Jeremiah says that it's hard to see one sibling missing. Derick and Jill film a small clip on the way down to Central America. When they arrive to Central America, they are greeted by many friends and it's a joyful reunion.
Austin is getting ready to propose to Joy since now his house just sold. He enlist the help of his father and Aaron, who is a close friend, to haul the items that he needs for the proposal. They managed to get everything ready.
To keep Joy distracted, Jessa has her come over to help with the kids. Jessa says that her sister is great with the little ones and loves helping. Joy reveals that they have both agree to allow God to control the size of their family. Right before the proposal, Joy returns home to pick up Jennifer and Johannah since she thinks that it's a horseback riding outing. Austin says that she makes him feel complete and calms him down. After they have been riding for a while, Austin has them stretch their legs and ask the girls to run ahead. Austin blindfolds Joy to head to the proposal site. He asks her to marry him and she says yes. The ring has a diamond in it that has been in the family for five generations.
Austin's father appears and gives the couple a big hug before allowing the couple to enjoy the dinner cooked by his friend, Aaron.
Later on, Joseph heads to ask Kendra's father permission to start courting and he agrees to it. The boys reveal that they have been praying and talking about entering a courtship for a while.

Paging Seewald family of four
Ben and Jessa said that their labor with baby #2 was a lot faster than their first child's birth. Jessa was admitted to the hospital after Spurgeon. She said that her mother and sister, Jana, almost did not make it to her son's birth. She did say that her sister, Jill, was there.
Jessa says that she is happy that Spurgeon and Henry are only 15 months apart.

Recap: Counting one more
Jessa is currently 39 weeks pregnant with baby Seewald. Ben and Jessa openly talk about waiting for their son. They invited a family where Jana and Jill had help Heather with one of the home birth.
Jessa revealed that they have been looking agency that wants their child to be nine months. They talk about their adventures to orphans where Ben and Jessa had gone on.
Jinger talks about how both Ben and Jessa have a passion for adoption and says that they will hopefully going to adopt.
Ben reveals that they don't know where they are going to adopt. Both Ben and Jessa have said that it would be great to have 15 boys.
Derick and Jill are heading to the children home with Israel to give gifts. The home has been taking in kids for 30. Jill gets task by handing one crayon while Derick has to give out papers for the kids to color.
Jill stops to feed Israel while Derick serves food to the kids. They talk about Ben and Jessa's heart for adoption. Derick reveals that they are also open to adoption and considering it.
Ben and Jessa get photos done. Ben jokes that there has not been enough baby bump photos. Ben and Jessa have not agree on a name on the baby four days before the due date.
Jessa reveals that Ben is not allowed to pick her up until she lose the baby weight.
Jill heads to the midwife clinic to volunteer for them. Jill talks about the old wives tales and gets ready to see her first mama of the day. Derick and Cathy take Israel to go shopping. They look for rain boots for the family.
Jessa reveals that her sister is amazing in this work of mission work and midwife. Jill doesn't know how many babies she will be delivering why Israel is little.
Derick has a hard time with Israel and he has to figure new things. Derick has a hard time talking Spanish with the lady. Luckily the lady is a sweet and helps him.
The rain boots cost about 30 dollars. Derick and Jill meet up at the store where he shows Derick and Israel's shoes.
Just 3 days from due date, Jana, Joy and Anna are at the house and starting to make quick meals. Anna talks about her birth story with Michael. Anna talks about how hard it is to be the house that she shared with Josh during their first five years.
Jessa asked about her sister-in-law is doing since what is going on with Josh. Anna is still having a hard time but is happy to spend this time with growing close to God. She talks about feeling like it's labor since her husband gone.
Jana says that Anna is doing well since her husband is gone. Anna puts her in carrier and ask about the clothes. She could use all of the moms clothes.
Jill Skype her sister and during a contraction. Jill reveals that she is sad that she is not there. They talk about settling in to Central America. Derick ask if she is in labor because of the contraction. Jessa says that the contraction is in the front. Jill talks about what the stages of labor.
Jessa reveals that she miss them a lot.
The Duggar boys decided to take Ben for some fun at Fast lanes.They have a lot of fun. Ben talks about being there for Jessa while she is in labor with the baby.
Jill and Cathy are cooking while Derick spends time with Israel. He gets happy after a little bit. Cathy is sad that she has to get ready to go home. They goodbye and Israel is sad about his grandma leaving. Jill shares that they could come home with more babies and that she is not pregnant with the couple's second child.
Jessa is three days late with the baby. She has Jana, Jinger, and Sierra there. Jessa is keeping track of her contraction. They head for walk. Jessa leaves almost everyone in the dusk. She has contractions every five minutes.
They ended up calling their birth team back to their house.
They are 20 hours in labor and no baby yet. Ben and Jessa leave to get some walk. Michelle marks her first appearance on the show at her daughter's birth.
Jinger checks in Joy to let her know how the labor is and says that the baby will be born soon. Jill was on the video chat with baby's birth.
Jessa is pushing the baby out when Jim Bob tells the kids.

Jessa ended up needing a blood transfusion. She says that child birth was hard. Spurgeon was bigger then Jessa. They head home after a few days.
The family comes over to meet the baby. Grandma ended up holding both babies. Ben and Jessa found out his name about five days old.
The family ends up talking about all the new changes. Anna talks about how much god has changed their family.

Baby Seewald: 23 weeks pregnant!
Ben and Jessa are 23 weeks pregnant with their first child. Ben and Jessa knows what their baby will be but decided to wait until it's born.

Ben and Jessa's journey to parenthood: introduction
In case that you did not heard, Ben and Jessa are expecting their first child due on November 1, 2015. Ben and Jessa just started their third month of pregnancy on April 1, 2015. We are so excited for them.
We will have their fourth month update on May 1st! We will be posting weekly pregnancy blogs on Sundays until the baby is born.

Duggars and mothers premiere episode
Tonight mark the return!
The family have us an update on where Derick and Jill's engagement ended last season. Michelle revealed that her daughter is ready to be a wife however the family has three months before the bride and groom can say I do.
The couple along with Michelle and the girls load up to meet with their wedding coordinators. They all are friends with the family. Jill is the first daughter of Jim Bob and Michelle to be getting married. The girls figure out that there is more things that they need to do before walking down to say I do. Jill learns that she has too do a lot. Michelle doesn't know how they are going to pull this off.
Derick's mom could not make it to the mother's day lunch in because she was sick well it turns out that she was diagnosed with cancer and has to go under chemotherapy. Derick and Jill grab Jessa so they can go visit Cathy at the hospital. Derick knows that it's been good to see how they deal with new changes. He was happy to have Jill by his side during this time.
At the Duggar home, the family decides that it's time for the Seewalds and Dillards to meet and what better day to do it on is Mother's day. Derick only has one brother named Dan who is two years younger than him and Ben has four sisters and two brothers.
Jessa wants to impress Ben's mom on her cooking skills but her skills are very limited and getting better so she helps her sister make the meal. She tries to imitate her older sister but admits that she is not as good as she is. Jessa tries to copy her style but she doesn't have it yet. She admits that cooking is fun and exciting but she always burn something. This time it was the dinner rolls but manages to save them with butter.
During the lunch, Jim Bob and Michelle ask Ben if he wants to move into their guesthouse and work around their property while he finish school. Ben decides to pray about it.
Jana doesn't think that it's normal for a guy to move into the girl's guest house but moving closer is a good idea.
Derick and Jill along with Dan and Chelsea are having a video chat with Cathy. (Good news now: Cathy is cancer free!)
Jim Bob and Michelle decided to give Derick and Jill a new house which is the same house that they fixed in 2012 in Puppies, properties and Patients and Kittens and Konstructions.
Jim Bob takes the kids over to the house to give it another deep clean. The house is three story mansion and has a lot of room for babies. Derick and Jill fell blessed to be able to live there until Jim Bob and Michelle decided to sell it.
Joy Anna feels that someone would feel that it was unfair to Josh and Anna that Derick and Jill got this house but the family did not own this house when Josh and Anna got married.
While cleaning, James got a hug splinter in his flinger and he was afraid when his father was trying to cut it out. Jessa quickly took over and managed to get it out right as Josh and Anna arrived to the house.
Jessa and her sisters are making up the guest house for her boyfriend who accepted their parent's offer. He arrived and was amazed by Jessa's decorating job.
Michelle revealed that her daughter is excited about this move. Ben reveals that the next step will be a rock and a piece of metal which means a ring which Jessa loves that idea.
