Baby Watch: Interview with Jill!

 Today marks Jill's due date and she is doing great. Jill reveals that she is experience Braxton Hicks contractions which helps prepare the body for labor and delivery.
Jill knows that many first time moms go over their due date. She has two due dates March 24 and April 5th. The baby will come when it's ready to be born. Normally they won't let moms go past 42 weeks so the baby could be here in April.
Jill revealed that she was planning for the baby to arrive late.
Jill has helped deliver around 30 babies including Anna's children. Jill is still studying to be a midwife and will take her exam later this year.
Jill reveals that it's been exciting to study while she is expecting since it's something she is learning and going through.

Baby Watch: Will there be a 40 week update?

Derick and Jill are still pregnant with their first child. Now things could change before Tuesday but right now there will be a 40 week pregnancy update!

Jill is 39 weeks and 2 days pregnant

Baby Dillard: 36 weeks and 2 days

Derick and Jill are due on March 24th! Here is the recent picture of the baby bump!

Derick and Jill Dillard update!

1. The Dillards' son, whom they have affectionately nicknamed Baby Dilly, is due March 24th, which is less than a month away.

2. Jana Duggar and a team of midwives will deliver Baby Dilly at the Dillards' home.

3. Jill says she feels fabulous and that their son is very active.

4. The Dillards are prepared with a birthing tub, a bassinet, a crib, and gifts received from family, friends, and fans.

5. Derick has never changed a diaper, while Jill has changed hundreds (perhaps thousands).

6. Dan Dillard, Derick's brother, is already planning to take his nephew camping (but not right away).

Journey to parenthood: Four weeks to go!

Can you believe that the baby is due in four weeks?! We can't wait for him to arrive.

34 weeks!

It's hard to think that baby boy Dillard will be here in about six weeks or less. Do you think he will be born before or after his due date.

Jill and Anna!

Jill is 32 weeks pregnant with her first child and is due on March 28th while Anna is 17 weeks pregnant with her fourth child. She has kept secret if she is expecting twins.

Baby Dillard's 30 week pregnancy update!

It's hard to believe that tomorrow will mark ten weeks until the baby is due. Derick and Jill could have anywhere from seven weeks to eleven weeks until the baby arrives. They still have not released the name for the baby.

Journey to parenthood: Grandbaby #4 Month 6

Derick and Jill are six months pregnant and are excited that in a few months they will be welcoming their first child! This month has been really busy for the Dillards as they are celebrating their first Thanksgiving and Christmas as husband and wife along with their first New Year!

Jill Dillard is in third trimester!

Jill and Derick are now in their third trimester and she will be starting her seventh month of pregnancy at the end of this week!

Jill is 25 weeks pregnant!

Derick and Jill are now 25 weeks pregnant with their first child. Their journey to parenthood: Month six will be posted later this week!


It turns out that the baby will be a few months old when Josh and Anna will welcome their fourth child.

24 weeks pregnant!

Jill is 24 weeks pregnant with her first child. The name is not announced yet but we are waiting for the big announcement!

Third grandson is on the way

Derick and Jill are excited to announce that they are in fact expecting a little boy!

The little boy will be the third grandson for Jim Bob and Michelle and the first grandson of Cindy.

17 weeks pregnant!

 Jill is now 17 weeks pregnant with their first child. Derick and Jill announced that they are making a big announcement on October 21st!  We are hoping that it's the gender announcement!
