Ten year old Birthday club introduction and update

 This year, the Duggar family will celebrate three grandchildren turning 10 years old but first we need to start this new season of our blog.

Mackynzie was the first grandchild to celebrate her tenth birthday in October 2019. Two years later, she was followed by her brother, Michael, in June 2021. Two years after that they were followed by their brother, Marcus, in June 2023.

Israel is now joining them and will be followed up by Meredith and Spurgeon respectively in July and November 2025. 

Jim Bob's political Career

 As many of you know that Jim Bob served in the Arkansas house of Representatives from 1999 to 2013. 

In 2002, Jim Bob ran for the United States Senate and was defeated by a vote of 71,576 to 20,546. In 2006, Jim Bob ran for district 35 seat and lost the nomination. In 2021, Jim Bob announced his second candidacy for the State Senate now trying the 7th seat, he finished in third place with 15.3% of the vote.

Josh's trial update

 We have an update about Josh and his upcoming trial for Child pornography to share with you all.

Josh's trial was originally supposed to start on July 6th but it has been pushed back to November 30th.

Josh's defense team wanted to wait until February 2022 to start the team as they were about to hire a computer forensics expert to review the case evidence and needed more time to review it.

The prosecution filed a response to allow three months to allow the expert to review it in which the judge gave them a five month delay on the trial.

Counting On Update

As many of you know that Counting On newest season was announced right as Jeremy and Jinger announced their pregnancy. 

The new season was scheduled to start on June 30th but TLC just announced that they are planning to wait until July 7th. 

Ten Grandchildren and counting!

Many of our fans have been asking who is expecting and who is not expecting so we thought that it would be nice to do a little update on all the grandchildren.

Josh and Anna recently welcomed their 5th child, Mason Garrett, into the world in September 2017.  The couple has not announced another pregnancy as of yet.

Derick and Jill welcomed their second child, Samuel Scott, into the world in July 2017. The couple has not announced their third pregnancy as of yet.

 Ben and Jessa welcomed their son, Henry, into the world in February 2017. As of March 2018, Jessa is not pregnant with her third child.

 Jeremy and Jinger announced in January 2018 that they are currently expecting their first child. The couple has not announced if the baby will be a boy or a girl as of yet.

 Austin and Joy welcomed their son, Gideon Martyn, into the world in February 2018.

Joseph and Kendra are expecting their first child, a boy, in the next few months. Their due date is rumored to be in June 2018.

Bates family Update- April 2017

It's been about four months since our last Bates family update and we have a ton to update on. If you want to watch the family grow come and check out our Bates family blog. 

In our last update, we announced that Tori is in a relationship with Bobby well in January 2017, the family announced the official courtship of the couple.

The family recently announced that Carlin is in a relationship with a man named Evan Stewart. There is no official courtship announcement as of yet.

John and Alyssa welcomed their daughter, Lexi Mae, on January 26th!

Bringing Up Bates will start on June 1st! 

Counting on Update!

Just as the Dillards announce baby #2, the network announced the new season will start on January 16th! 

The show is moving to Mondays! 

 

Update from Josh and Anna

As we enter into a long family weekend together, we want to thank each of you for the prayers, love and encouragement you’ve sent our way. Since the residential treatment program ended, we have been working with a professional marriage and family counselor to take important steps toward healing. It isn’t easy and some days are very difficult. It is a long road to rebuild trust and a truly healthy relationship. We are very thankful for God’s forgiveness, grace and help, as it is our strength and guide to rebuilding our lives. As the future unfolds, we are taking one day at a time and we are grateful for your continued prayers for both of us and our sweet children.

All about Israel: Up to two years old?

Irsael is turning one in about two weeks and we are figuring out what we want to do with All about Israel updates. 

We were thinking about doing updates every month until he turns 2 or every six months until he turns 2.

A King update

We have been asked to start writing for Dillon and Amy but right now we're not going to do that so we thought about doing a little update.

They have been married since September 2015 and are doing really. Amy revealed that her parents are getting a divorce after nine years of marriage.

all about Meredith: three weeks old

This sweet little angel is now three weeks old. We can't believe that she is already three weeks old. This week she got to spend time with her aunt Jessa and Jana.

The future of 19 kids and counting!

Today we come with sad news to all of our loyal readers

TLC has decided to officially cancelled the show. Back in late May, TLC had pulled all the episodes of the show from the air. It's unknown if they will do any specials.

Derick and Jill Dillard update!

1. The Dillards' son, whom they have affectionately nicknamed Baby Dilly, is due March 24th, which is less than a month away.

2. Jana Duggar and a team of midwives will deliver Baby Dilly at the Dillards' home.

3. Jill says she feels fabulous and that their son is very active.

4. The Dillards are prepared with a birthing tub, a bassinet, a crib, and gifts received from family, friends, and fans.

5. Derick has never changed a diaper, while Jill has changed hundreds (perhaps thousands).

6. Dan Dillard, Derick's brother, is already planning to take his nephew camping (but not right away).

All about Josie: Five year update!

Josie is now five years old today. It is hard to believe that she is five. It seems just yesterday Josie was born early.

Another Grandbaby on the way!!

Just three weeks ago, Gil and Kelly Bates welcomed their first grandson and now they are expecting another grandchild.

John and Alyssa have been married since May 2014 and are expecting their first child due in April 2015.

Checking in with Josie Duggar

Josie is doing so well; she’ll be five years old in December. It’s coming up so quickly! She’s working on phonics and starting violin lessons -- and she is just so excited about being such a big girl. She’s even riding a bike without training wheels.

The other day, we had one of her doctors and his wife over to the house for dinner. He was the one that actually delivered her when we were at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). The night before they came over, I told Josie, "Tomorrow evening we are going to have the doctor over who delivered you. God used him to save your life and my life. The skills that he learned in school, and all of the training that he got, allowed him to sustain your life and mine." I wanted her to know what a blessing it is and how grateful we are for all the doctors and nurses that took care of us.

When they arrived at the door the next day, you would have thought that it was the President of the United States coming in. As they were pulling into the driveway, Josie was standing at the window, jumping up and down looking for them. The minute her doctor stepped foot through the door, she hugged his leg and didn’t let go of him the whole time he was here. He picked her up and she hugged his neck, kissed him on the cheek and just would not let go.

He was grinning because he said this was really the joy of his work. This was the result of all those hours of work and he was just delighted to see how well she’s doing.

So, yes, Josie is doing miraculously well. You look at her and you’d never know there was anything different at the beginning of her life. She is excelling. She sings all the time; she has a song in her heart and if she doesn’t know the words, she just makes them up. It is so sweet to see this little one with so much joy and energy and love for life. I’m just so grateful to God and for all the prayers of our friends out there.

I still meet people to this day that say, "I prayed for that little girl." And Josie will go up and give them a heartfelt hug. We have such gratitude in our hearts that she’s here and we don’t take for granted a day that we get with her. It makes you look at all of your other relationships so differently and appreciate the time that you’ve got with the kids. They grow up so fast. We realize that even more at this stage in life.

12 week update!

Marcus is 12 weeks old and weighing in at 16 lbs! He's going to be a big boy soon!

Is Anna pregnant?

Josh and Anna have not said anything about a new baby. Maybe they are waiting for the okay from the network before saying anything since the last pregnancy that Michelle had ended in a miscarriage. We will keep you update on this matter.
The last pregnancy that Anna had (from what we know of is Michael). Michael is about to turn two in June and Mackynzie is three years old.
