2022 Yearly Recap!

Welcome back to another yearly recap for the Duggar family. There has been a few bad times and some good times as well.

January: Grace, Jana, John David, and Joseph celebrated their birthdays. Jana opened up about her court case. The girls gave a lawsuit update. Jeremiah and Hannah are engaged as well announcing that their wedding would be in the spring. Jedidiah and Katey revealed that they are having a little boy. 

February: Henry, Tyler, Brooklyn, Gideon, Claire celebrated their birthdays. Justin and Claire celebrated their first wedding anniversary. Jeremiah and Hannah announced that their wedding would be in March. We gave a sentencing update on Josh as well as another Duggar girls lawsuit update. Derick and Jill announced that they are expecting their third child.

March: Josh and Derick celebrated their birthdays. Jeremiah and Hannah got married. Derick and Jill announced that they are having a boy. 

April: Israel, Abbie, and Jason celebrated their birthdays. Jedidiah and Katey celebrated one year of marriage.

May: Jill, Lauren, Ben, Jackson, and Ivy celebrated their birthdays. Jedidiah and Katey welcomed their son. Josh was sentenced to 151 months in prison. The Duggars celebrated Mother's Day. John David and Abbie shared that they are expecting their second child.

June: Marcus, Garrett, Michael, Hannah, Anna celebrated their birthdays. The Duggars celebrated Father's Day. Derick and Jill celebrated their anniversary. Josiah and Lauren celebraed their anniversary.

July: James, Samuel, Meredith, Jim Bob, Fern, Felicity, and Katey celebrated their birthdays. Derick and Jill welcomed their little boy. Jim Bob and Michelle celebrated their anniversary. The family celebrated Fourth of July.

August: Jennifer, Kendra, Evelyn, and Josiah celebrated their birthdays. Jeremiah and Hannah announced that they are expecting their first child.

September: Jeremy, Mason, and Michelle celebrated their birthdays. Josh and Anna celebrated their anniversary. Joseph and Kendra celebrated their anniversary.

October: Mackynzie, Johannah, Madyson, and Joy celebrated their birthdays. John David and Abbie announced the birth of their son. Austin and Joy announced that they are expecting. Jeremiah and Hannah shared that they are going to have a little girl.

November: Addison, Jessa, Spurgeon, Bella, Justin, Evangeline, and Maryella celebrated their birthdays. John David and Abbie celebrated their anniversary. Ben and Jessa celebrated their anniversary. Jeremy and Jinger celebrated their birthdays. Austin and Joy revealed that they are having a little boy. Jinger announced that she has a book coming out. The family celebrated Thanksgiving.

December: Josie, Austin, Jordyn, Jinger, Jedidiah, and Jeremiah celebrated their birthdays. Jedidiah and Katey announced that they are expecting a new baby. We shared a new photo of Madyson and Michael. Jedidiah and Katey would later announced that they are expecting a baby girl and will name her Nora Kate. The family celebrated Christmas and New Years Eve.

All about Garrett: Three months old

Garrett is three months old and is celebrating his parents wedding anniversary. This past month, he also celebrated his mother's birthday.

We wish that we were able to share a new photo of the baby boy but we aren't able to just yet.

Bates family update: August 2018

We were going to wait to share an update on the Bates family but they have had many changes for the past few months that we would love to share with you all. The family recently got new photos done that we thought we would share with you all!

Zach and Whitney recently announced that they renewed their wedding vows in June 2018 right before Kaci Lynn celebrated her second birthday. The couple also announced that they were expecting their third child together however the pregnancy ended in a miscarriage. Zach and Whitney have said that they would love to have more children.

  Brandon and Michaella recently celebrated their third year of marriage on August 15th!

 John and Alyssa welcomed their daughter, Zoey Joy, into the world on March 28, 2018. She was born just a few weeks before her oldest sister, Allie Jane, celebrated her third birthday on April 11th. Lexi Mae recently celebrated her 18 month milestone. The couple recently celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary in May 2018.

Bobby and Tori announced that they were expecting their first child which is due in November 2018. The couple would later announced that the baby is a boy and will be naming Robert Ellis the fourth. They will be calling him Cade which means Fourth generation. They recently announced that he is due right around Thanksgiving.

 Chad and Erin welcomed their daughter, Everly Hope, into the world on March 30, 2018. The baby girl was born just two days after her cousin Zoey Joy. Their son, Carson, celebrated his third birthday on May 15th and their daughter, Brooklyn, celebrated her second birthday on August 6th.

Carlin and Evan recently celebrated their first year of their courtship.

 Kelton and Josie are engaged to be married. The wedding will take place on October 5th which is Katie's birthday.

Three Birthdays coming soon

This weekend is going to be busy for the Duggar family since they will be celebrating three birthdays in three days and it is starting on Thursday and ends on Saturday!

On Thursday, we will be celebrating Jill's birthday. On Friday, we will be celebrating Lauren's birthday. On Saturday, We will be celebrating Ben's birthday.

2017 Recap!

In January, Derick and Jill announced that their second child would be a baby boy as the family celebrated John, Jana and Joseph's birthdays.

In February, Ben and Jessa welcomed their son, Henry, into the world. The family celebrated Tyler's birthday.

In March, Joseph and Kendra announced their courtship as Austin and Joy announced their engagement. Josh and Anna announced that they were expecting baby #5 later that year. The family also celebrated Josh and Derick's birthday.

In April, The family celebrated Jason and Israel's birthday.

In May, The family celebrated the wedding of Austin and Joy. They also celebrated Mother's Day.The family celebrated the birthdays of Jill, Ben, Jackson, and Grandma Duggar. Joseph and Kendra got engaged.

In June, The family celebrated father's day. They celebrated the anniversary of Derick and Jill. They also celebrated Anna, Michael and Marcus's birthdays.

In July, Derick and Jill welcomed their son, Samuel Scott, into the world. They celebrated Meredith, James, and Jim Bob's birthdays. They also celebrated Jim Bob and Michelle's anniversary. They also celebrated Fourth of July.

In August, The family celebrated Josiah, Jennifer, and Kendra's birthdays. Austin and Joy announced that they are expecting baby #1 due in 2018. We also celebrated our facebook anniversary.

In September, Josh and Anna welcomed their son, Mason Garrett, into the world. The family celebrated the anniversaries of Josh and Anna, Dillon and Amy. Joseph and Kendra got married. The family celebrated Jeremy, Cousin Amy and Michelle's birthdays.

In October, The family celebrated Mackynzie, Joy and Johannah's birthdays.

In November, The family celebrated their Thanksgiving. They celebrated the birthdays of Jessa, Spurgeon and Justin. They also celebrated the anniversaries of Jessa and Ben along with Jeremy and Jinger. TLC announced that Derick Dillard would not be on the new season of Counting On.

In December, They celebrated Josie, Austin, Jordyn, Jinger, Jedidiah and Jeremiah's birthday. The family celebrated Christmas and New Years Eve. The family attended the wedding of Tori Bates and Bobby Smith.

All about Spurgeon: 19 months old

Can you believe that Spurgeon only has five months until his second birthday? 

This month, he celebrated  his mother's second Mother's Day along with his father's birthday. He also watched his aunt (Joy) get married to her childhood sweetheart. He also got to watched his uncle (Joseph) get engaged!

Question from a "19 Kids and Counting" fan on Facebook: How do you celebrate the kids’ birthdays, especially when you have multiple birthdays in the same month?

It’s quite interesting because we have a lot of birthdays, especially during the months of December and January when we have Jana, John-David, Jinger, Joseph, Jedidiah, Jeremiah, Jordyn and Josie.

Initially, when they were all little, we would do a party for each child and invite our family and friends. But now since the family is so big, we’d be wearing out our family by doing that every time there was another birthday. We decided to make the birthday celebrations more personal for each one of the kids.

Now each child gets to have a special birthday lunch with just mom and dad. If it’s a younger one, we’ll usually invite their older buddy, too. For the older ones, it might be just dad and me so they get a chance to just spend quality time talking and having a nice lunch.

They get to pick their favorite restaurant; as you can imagine it’s a much different choice of lunch spot for the younger ones versus the older ones. The older ones like to go to a really nice place, sit down and just have a quiet visit, whereas the younger ones want to go to someplace like Chuck E. Cheese and play games.

We also have a tradition that if we’re not travelling on their birthdate, we always have an ice cream social at 7 p.m. in our house. It’s just a family thing, not a giant party, just family. I have some kids who are social butterflies and some that aren’t, so we’ll let the birthday person decide if they want to invite their friends over, they’re welcome to do that for the ice cream party.

That week of their birthday is a fun time where they’re just hanging out doing things that are out of the normal, running around with dad or mom and getting to have some special time during that week. We really enjoy that special time with them, celebrating each one on their own.

Recap: Love and Marriage

Jim Bob and Michelle are heading to Puerto Rico for a marriage retreat after being married for 28 and half years. Michelle reveals that it's always good to things to get better in their marriage. Jim Bob and Michelle reveal that they are only way from their family for a couple of nights a year.

When Jim Bob and Michelle head to leave for the trip, Michelle tells Grandma and the girls that they need a timer for every 20 minutes for potty training Josie. Jim Bob and Michelle are asked what they want to get out off their marriage retreat which is baby number 20. Michelle reveals hat Jim Bob plays basketball with his socks every night which annoys her. Then it's Jim Bob to reveal what is the most annoying thing that Michelle does which is that when ever he calls her to show her something, she makes stops and clean up something and put it away and by the time that she gets there it's gone. He is asked does she nag at him and he replies no since she is just loving encouraging him to do what's right.

Michelle and Jim Bob finally arrive in Puerto Rico with their relationship coach Chris and Anne Hogan. Michelle reveals that they need to work on their communication.

Back at home, The girls are enjoying spending time with their younger siblings when Anna brings them all breakfast. The older girls leave to speak at a birthday party leaving Grandma to watch the little ones. She decides to play some games of Foursquare with them. At the birthday party, they talk about relationships and courtships.The crew asks the girls if there is any courtships and Jill responds no while Jessa says they are observing stage but there is no attached to any of the guys.

Jim Bob and Michelle are experience new things on their second day of trip which is snorkeling. Michelle wears her wholesomewear swimsuit while her husband wears Jeans that cut off at the knee. Jim Bob and Michelle head to do some zip lining which neither of them want to do that again.

On their last day of the trip, Grandma and the kids are cleaning up the house. Jana reveals that some of the kids are more in depth about cleaning. Michelle talks about adopting and reveals that they are praying about it and leaving it to God about what to do!
