 Today is Grandma Duggar's birthday. Happy Heavenly birthday! 

Grandma Duggar is celebrating her 82nd birthday in heaven today.

Third Double Birthdays

 The Duggar family has two double birthdays currently but when Jeremiah and Hannah get married sometime this year, they will have three double birthdays. 

Let's recap the double birthdays:

The first double birthday was Grandma Duggar and Ivy Seewald. They were both born on May 26th.

The second double birthday was Jim Bob Duggar and Fern Seewald. They were both born on July 18th.

Now who is the third double birthday?

It's Anna (Keller) Duggar and Hannah Wissmann. They both share a birthday on June 23rd. 

Remembering Grandma Duggar

Today marks a bitter sweet day. Today is Grandma's Duggar birthday. Today we thought that it would be wonderful to celebrate the life of Grandma Duggar.

Just a month before her death, Ben and Jessa welcomed their daughter, Ivy Jane into the world. Grandma Duggar was able to get a photo with Jessa, Ivy and Michelle before she passed away.

Grandma Duggar was loved by so many fans and even her family members.

Statement from the Duggar family

We are so sad to share that Grandma Duggar (Mary) passed away Sunday afternoon, June 9th, 2019. Mary Lester Duggar grew up in Farmington, Arkansas and was married almost 50 years to J.L. (Jimmy Lee) Duggar who preceded her in death. Mary found great joy in sharing her love for Jesus and her own story of how at age 15 she asked Christ to forgive her for her sins. It was at that time she committed the rest of her life to live for Him, a commitment she kept with devotion. She loved to share with others how they too could be forgiven of their sins, live a fulfilling life as a Christian, and one day spend eternity in heaven. She is survived by her daughter Deanna and her son Jim Bob, 21 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, with several more great-grandchildren on the way! Mary Duggar was also a successful real estate broker who owned Good Neighbor Realty and was noted in Northwest Arkansas for being the broker who put together the property sale for the John Q. Hammons Holiday Inn & Convention Center in Springdale. Grandma Mary Duggar has been on the TLC shows, "19 Kids & Counting" and "Counting On" with her family for over 15 years. She is greatly loved and will be missed so very much! She lived a tremendous life as a follower of Christ, a wife, a devoted mother, a loving mother-in-law, and a much-loved grandmother. Proverbs 31:10-31 describes the virtuous woman, indeed she personified these beautiful verses with her life. We deeply appreciate your prayers for our family and all who loved Mary during this time.

We are so sad to announced the passing of Grandma Duggar! She recently celebrated her birthday on May 26th and welcomed her great-granddaughter, Ivy Jane.

Recap: Nesting and Room re-do

Now that the girls are down to seven in their room, they decided that it's time to remodel their room. They have had the same color in their room for almost ten years. They decided that it's time to give a more mature feel. Cindy comes up to help the family. They decided that they want to do a burnt orange, dark and light gray for paint colors.
Jim Bob says that the girls room is his favorite because it's bright and cheerful. He tries to convince the girls to leave the painted tree and horses. The girls want to cover them up.
Josh and Anna pack up their kids to head for their first appointment with their midwife. This is the first baby of the family to be born in DC. Josh and Anna are nervous about not having the family around for the birth.
Jessa and Jill head to get baby dilly's room all ready. Michelle says that she is super excited for Jill's first child.
 Grandma Duggar and Jana are taking care of the youngest ones while their parents are in Chicago for a meeting. Josie has a fever and along with a seizure. Jana and Scott carry out the information by the dispatcher that Grandma Duggar is on the phone with. Josie is taken to the hospital with her older sister. Jim Bob and Michelle were worried about their daughter made it home as soon as they could.
   Due to the fact that she was born early, Josie has had a lot of seizures which are cause by her temperature spikes up.
The next day Josie is happy to be in her parents arms and is doing great. Jana is happy to have her mom and dad back.
