Recap: After show part 1

The older Duggar siblings sit down to talk with Daphne Oz. If you are don't know Daphne, she is on the Talk on ABC during the weekdays. She is currently expecting baby #3 later this year.

The Vuolos revealed that they are now settled into their new house. They managed to find a four bedroom house. Jana adds that she would love to help them turn one of the bedrooms into a nursery.
Jana reveals that she is currently busy with her garden and it also doubles as the family's outside entertaining area.

Austin and Joy share that marriage has been a very easy adjustment.  Joy says that it felt like the right next thing to do. The couple had just returned from their month long honeymoon.

John-David reveals that he is currently flight training. He is also taking care of the Duggar rental properties and volunteering. Josiah revealed that he is learning how to fly with his brother.

Daphne replays the clip where Austin asked Joy to court him. Joy admits that she had liked Austin for four years but kept it under the belt until Austin showed interest in her. Joy says that she would write her name in the houses that Austin was flipping before he knew she liked him.

Daphne asked the married couples and even Joseph if they have ever broke any of their rules during courtship. John jokes that he has not even had a chance to break his.

The family knows that they do something different then the people out there. John reveals that they do it that way because they are trying to live their lives with the littlest regret that they can. He adds that it's not a bad way to go but just a different way. There can be a lot of regret and it is more about what they can give than what they get.

Joseph and Kendra did a little bit different than the other couples and waited to say "I love you" until engagement but kept the no hand holding the same like the other married couples.

Daphne replays the clip where Jessa and Jinger are updating Jeremy's apartment to more of a woman's touch before the wedding. Jinger revealed that she has the same tastes as her sister and just let her be the "bad guy".

The siblings were asked if they enjoy tater tot casserole and reveal that it was not one of their favorites. They had visitors over and they would request the casserole dish but the family got very tired of it.

During the new season of Counting On, the viewers will be able to see the rafting and Camping trip to celebrate Joy and Austin's upcoming wedding.

Jana reveals that assisting in births had made her want to give birth near a hospital if not a birthing center but not at home.

Joy says that seeing births terrify her but she knows that it's worth it. She is willing to do it. Jessa reveals that there is no shame of asking an epidural to help with the pain.

Recap: The After show

(PS, we are sorry for the delay on our recap)
The older kids head to Nashville to talk to Scott. The group watches the Flame's vist to Arkansas, Derick asked his brother-in-law if he is going to make his own hip hop album but Ben knows that it's not where his heart lies but manages to "Spit some bars" for the group.
Scott turns his attention to Derick and Jill about their life down in Central America and they share some real life experiences. Derick and Jill have made their bathroom into their safe room.
Jessa adds that she hear gun shots and could not imagine being home with the kids while hoping Ben comes back every night. Derick reveals that they are willing to take that risk to spread the word of Jesus. They always make sure that they know what is going on.
The group announces that they do not like sharing food or drinks. They are germaphobes.
Jill shares that her life is like survival camp that her siblings went on. She make sure to relie on her husband to stay safe.
The girls reveal that Jim Bob is on edge with their projects but are warming up to their ides. He doesn't want them to paint the walls, trims or cabinets.
Jinger is surprised by Jeremy. He came with roses for her and she is super surprise by this. Jinger reveals that she loves the surprises, Jessa reveals that she loves surprises also. Jill is not one for surprises but is happy at the end of it.
Jim Bob reveals that his daughter has an expensive thrift shopping habit and Jeremy reveals that they have the same thing. Scott asked the couple if they are planning to start a family right after they married but they just say we will see. Derick jokes that they will be pregnant by the end of the year earning him a look from Jinger.
The boys look at the clip where Jeremy asked her father permission to court and he reveals that he is not focus on eating and thinks that Jim Bob is hungry.
Jeremy reveals that they have a lot of different style of rules compare to the others.
The youngest Duggar grandsons come to say hi before Cindy takes them to play.
Jinger shares what she felt when she became engaged to Jeremy. Jinger reveals that she is moving to Laredo after the wedding and plans to move her items before the wedding.
Ben and Jessa plan to put their adoption on hold while they are expecting their second child. They plan on finding out the gender but haven't decided to announce the gender of their second child.
Scott asked if Derick and Jill are planning for a second child and they are trying to plan. The couple are not expecting yet but are actively trying for their second child.
Jana reveals that she purchase a tattoo parlor and working renovating it but they have other projects right now.
Joy is doing a online bible school and doesn't plan to do a full-on college.

Recap: Proposal in the city

The group are visiting Jeremy's family and  are enjoying their time. The double couples head to the lake where the girls were shorts since it will be easier for them to do Kayaking. Jessa reveals that the girls normally wear skirts but there are times where they will wear something else instead.
Jeremy reveals that he loves seeing Jinger in the skirts and dresses and thinks she is beautiful but also thought it was cool seeing her in shorts.
The group heads to New York City to visit Grandpa and Grandma Vuolo and Jinger gets a hug from Grandma. She also sees some photos of Jeremy when he was a baby. Jinger gets a cooking lesson from grandma. Grandma reveals that she learned after she got married how to make this kind of food. Everyone enjoys the meal.
Jeremy manages to get some tickets to the soccer game. He used to play goal keep on the team. Jinger reveals that she loved walking on to the field. The couple got to enjoy dinner with Luis and his wife Cara.
The next day, Jeremy heads to give the ring to his friend and he will take it to the proposal  site. The group headed to New York City for the special day.  Jeremy tries to make sure that he throws her off by having a photographer take photos. Ben is there with Jinger and Jeremy. He is worried that the rain will ruin it.  The skies clears up in time.
The couple gets a special song "Come thou Fount". Jeremy thinks that she did not put it together until he got down to one knee to ask her. She says yes.
Ben comes out and congratulate the couple. He and Jeremy reveal all the plans that came with engagement. Michelle and Jessa show up and congratulate the new engaged couple.
Jana calls a family meeting to renovate the guest house. Jana gives her list to her siblings. Joe and John David joke up that they will be used to honey to do list  when they get married.
Anna shows up to the house and sees all the work that has been done. She manages to play Joy to the world with one finger. She reveals that she has been practicing hard.
Jana and Anna share a very good relationship. Jana says that they have been like sisters and now that they live in the same state. They get to spend a lot of time together.
Anna says that Jana has been a big help for the past year of troubles. Anna knows that her sister-in-law will make an amazing wife one day but for right now she needs her.
Derick and Jill are packing up to come for the next four months, Lord willing. Jill reveals that there will be two weddings that they will be here depending on the wedding dates.  Derick and Jill say that they will miss the friends that they have made while in Central America.

Recap: Guys guide to courting

The group is headed to the airport to meet Jeremy. They all fly to Philadelphia.  Jinger and Jeremy have been together for about five months.
Joy says that her sister has been in la-la land for the past few months.
Jeremy, Ben, Derick and Josiah all sit down and give a few courtship tips. They all say to be honest and upfront of their intentions and spend time with the family.
Derick says to stick with the rules that the courting couple have set. Jill and Derick printed out their list and gave them to the chaperones.
 All the boys say that it's a good thing to keep the father inform with the status of the relationship.
Jedidiah and John-David say that they have relationship guidelines and talk to the girl. Joseph reveals that they are planning to do the same thing as the courting boys. Jill reveals that her husband had the best advantage since he already knew her father. Jeremy reveal that Jim Bob had waited for a few minutes before giving the permission.
The siblings describe their brother, John David, is talented and hard working.  When they are asked what kind of girl they would pick for him.
        Jinger reveals that the girl would be Brunette, outgoing, country girl, talkative
        Jana also agrees with her sister: outgoing, country girl, talkative
        Jill reveals something different Blonde, shy, country girl, quiet
        Jessa reveals to agree with Jinger and Jana Brunette, outgoing, country girl, talkative
        John-David reveals that he wants someone whom Brunette, somewhere between outgoing and shy, probably a country girl, someone who is quiet
The siblings would later talk about Joseph and say that he is reliable and caring. Josiah is someone know as the family comedian and loves to prank the family.
 Josiah shares that he is ready to start courting again and is interested in someone.
The siblings reveal that the twins are eager to learn and Jed has the business mindset while Jeremiah is more diplomat.

Recap: Meet the parents

Jinger and Jeremy have been courting forthe past three weeks. Jim Bob and Michelle are heading with Jinger to meet Jeremy's parnets.
Josiah jokes that they are hoping not to be outlaw.
At the airport, Jinger gives Jeremy a hug as he gives her flowers. Jinger gives him the gift that she made by hand. Jeremy takes the group to his place and they all agree that it's a good place to start the marriage and raise a small family. Jeremy reveals that his mom helped clean up the place before the Duggars got there.
Jeremy has everyone listen to "Come thou fount" which will be part of their wedding.
Jinger reveals that they set their own rules for their courtship. When Jeremy puts his arm around the shoulder, he learns that they haven't done that in the past. Jeremy says that it's part of getting to know each other.
Jeremy takes them on a tour and heads to a pawn shop. Jim Bob notices that they were looking at rings and says don't get any ideas.
Michelle and Jinger agree that it's hard for dad to watch his baby girl in this new stage. During their lunch date, Jim Bob asked Jeremy about the crime level. Jim Bob doesn't think that his daughter is ready to share a drink with Jeremy yet.
The couple heads to the church where Jeremy preaching and it only holds 40-50 people. Both parents agree that they are a match made in heaven.
Jeremy  kids about if they get married in one month then he's out but they enjoy being together.
Derick is getting ready to peach so he is writing what he wants to say. Jill invites the girls and their kiddos once a week. She makes banana bread since they love it. Jill is still working on her Spanish but happy to have the pastor's wife with translating. Jill talks to a lot of women who's husbands are not being faithful to them.
John and Joy head to the air since she is working on getting a pilot's licensee to get to remote villages and visit Derick and Jill.
Joy was a little nervous and made John. He thinks that his sister would be able to do if she wants to do it.
The Duggars are getting for a graduation party with more than 200 people. The Bates family are coming to celebrate the graduation. Jana says that the family has loved being homeschool and not one has they want to go to public school.
Jedidiah and Jeremiah are only five minutes apart but have a close relationship. Josiah says that they are always together.

Recap: Duggars in the Wild

The siblings wake up for the second day of Signet 3 Survival School. Jason wakes up to find that there was a bear and heads to warn Joy Anna. Later they take a hike and the girls think that the skirts are a little hard for their hike and shoes.

The girls talk about why they are wearing skirts instead of pants. They learn how to make a bottle into a water filter. A few of them give it a go but others refuse it.

Jinger takes a lot of photos and videos to send to Jeremy when they get wifi since there is not cell photos. Joy says that it's good to have her sister back. They head to find wild edibles. They reveal that they are going to sleep in the shelters but the girls end up bringing the RV.

Derick and Jill head to their hotel to celebrate their second wedding anniversary. Israel is used to getting bath in the sink but gets introduce to the bathtub. The couple takes their son to the pool for a swimming lesson.  Derick grew up as a lifeguard and loves teaching his son to swim.

Derick and Jill head for their dinner date with Israel in tow. They talk about having a baby #2 but they are not currently expecting their second child. Derick and Jill exchanged their letters for each other.

Spurgeon is weighing 20 pounds and is currently 20 pounds. Ben and Jessa take some baby boy clothes to their friends who have a seven week old.

Jessa hopes to have another baby soon which are they expecting baby #2 in February 2017.

Recap: It's official!

Now that Jeremy has asked Jinger to court him and she said yes. The newly courting couple headed over to Ben and Jessa's house to share ice cream with Jim Bob and Michelle. Jeremy revealed that he recently finished his contract for soccer and decided to become a pastor in Texas.
The family gathers to eat dinner while getting to know Jeremy. They end up getting Italian takeout. Jinger reveals that she is head over heels in love with him.
Jana can see the courtship heading to marriage but the boys say that they are still checking him out to make sure that he is right for their sister.
Jeremy and Jinger decided that they want to talk about courtship with Derick and Jill since they had a long distance courtship like Josh and Anna.
The family has a gym in one of their warehouses so they can enjoy it. Ben and Jessa take turns wearing Spurgeon while working out. Ben reveals that he wants to start a football camp and meets with Steve. Jessa says that she can see that her son being a football player.
It's time to head to survival camp in Missouri. Jinger makes sure that she grabs her pillow and Keurig machine. Since Jinger doesn't know if they will have cell phone service, she checks in with Jeremy. She is happy to learn that they do have service there.
The kids learn how to make a fire. One of the leaders think that the girls outfits are not the best for camping.
Jana and Jinger sleep in the camper while Joy sleeps in the hammock. The boys are in the tents and teepees. They end up hearing a bear.
Derick and Jill are enjoying their air conditioning that Jim Bob and Michelle sent to them so they don't have to keep the doors and windows all the time.

Recap: A courtship begins

As Spurgeon is getting older, Ben and Jessa think that it's time to baby proof the house. Jinger and Anna bring Marcus and Meredith to help Jessa. Marcus love to point out everything that could be hazard.
Jessa and Jinger work on the cabinets while Anna works on other things. Jessa remembers the time that she and Jinger outsmarted baby proofing. They ended up drawing on white cabinets with markers that don't come off so easy.
 Jinger says that she wants to have a houseful of kids since she loves them.
Anna gives an update on Josh. He is out of rehab and working to rebuild their marriage. Anna says that she has seen a lot progress out of her husband.
Ben and Jessa get ready to babysit the Napier girls whom the oldest one is adopted. Ben and Jessa have talked about adoption.
Derick and Jill talk about what was going on with Israel who is running and talking. They missed their family and friends.
Josiah is working on taking his test. Out of the other siblings, John is the best one to do it because he is the most patient. Neither Josiah and John David are in a courtship.
Jim Bob and Jeremy to get coffee to talk about Jinger.  Jeremy asked Jim Bob about getting in an official courtship with Jinger. Jim Bob told Jeremy that he had talked to Michelle and they agree to give them their blessing.
Jeremy is overjoyed about this news.   Jim Bob says  A courtship is…an evaluation period for the purpose of considering each other for marriage.
The Boys head to the house and Jeremy asked Jinger to go outside to have a chat. He asked her to start courting and she said yes to the courtship. They have many side hugs and head inside to tell her family.
Joy is happy to see her sister happy after everything that happen last year.

Season 2 is go!

Right as Jinger announced her courtship, TLC announced that there will be a second season of Counting on this summer. 


We don't have the official air date but we should have it soon!
