Grandbaby #8: Last Update

Derick and Jill only have a few more weeks until Baby #2 arrives. They have released their son's name on June 6th.

We are so excited to share the results of our poll that we did last week. Derick and Jill are due with baby #2 in a few weeks and we wanted to see what you all like.

Per many votes: We have a new blog title for the birth announcement for baby Samuel and it is  Welcome Samuel Scott! 

We will be using Paging Dillard family, party of four for the first family photo!

Back when Jessa was expecting Henry, we decided to give you the power to post what the birth announcement idea is. So here we are. Derick and Jill are due in early July and now that we know his name will be Samuel Scott, this could be easy to do.

Jill's pregnancy update!

It's been about five months since Derick and Jill announced that they are expecting their second child, with a July due date. A few weeks after that, they announced that they were going to have their second baby boy. 

Jill has said that the pregnancy is going well thus far, as we make it into the home stretch now. Little “Samuelito” (as the locals call him) sometimes wakes mommy up at night now with his active kicking. We look forward to returning home soon to prepare for the birth (before we can’t fly anymore!).

Yesterday, we have started our baby guesses for Derick and Jill's unborn son who is due in July. We did merge the length and weight together.

Since Derick and Jill announced the gender of their second child and it's a boy. We decided to do the baby games a little early.

The family is super excited about the news of a new grandbaby coming this July and all recorded some messages. Over the next few days, we will be sharing them.

Journey to parenthood: Grandbaby #8 introduction

Early this week, Derick and Jill announce that they are expecting baby #2 due in July 2017. The couple did not officially announce their due date as of yet but Jim Bob and Michelle asked how far along in the pregnancy and the couple said about three months pregnant.

They will be finding out the gender of the baby but we don't know if the couple will share it.

This baby will mark the second grandbaby to be born in the month of July!
