Recap: Highs and Lows

The night that the Vuolos announced their pregnancy to the family, Jinger sadly starts having symptoms of a miscarriage. The next morning the couple heads for an ultrasound which reveals that their baby passed away. Jeremy says that it has help talking to others that have gone through this. Jeremy says that it has been difficult for both of them but he wants to be there to comfort her.
Jeremy plans a surprise birthday party for Jinger with her closest family and friends. He set up the table and chairs at the Mahoney home.
Jinger brings Felicity and her friend to a iPhone photography workshop while Jeremy meets up with the family at the hotel. Jim Bob, Michelle, Ben and Jessa, Ivy, Jana and Laura have come to the birthday party. Michelle is looking forward to spending time with Jinger to help her after her miscarriage.  Jinger learns how to take great iPhone photos and develop them in a dark room. Jeremy gets the last minute things done. The couple meets back at the house as Jeremy tells Jinger that he is taking her on a date. She has a new dress and curls her hair. Felicity is staying back with the babysitter as Jeremy puts a blindfold over Jinger's face.
At the Mahoney house, The family are setting up and classical musicians are practicing. As the couple arrives, they start playing happy birthday. Jinger sees her group of friends and the Duggars come out and surprise her.
Jeremy says that he wanted to have Jinger know how much people love and appreciate her. She is incredible woman that shows selfless, caring and pouring out her time and energy to love others. At the party, they share words about Jinger. Jeremy presents his wife with a custom paining of Jinger and Felicity.
Jim Bob says that the picture show Jinger's heart and how she is a good mom and nurturing Felicity.
Jinger says that it was a great birthday party that she has ever had.
The next morning, Michelle takes her daughters out for coffee to show their love and support to Jinger following the loss of the baby. The miscarriage had happend the week before. Michelle knows that different couples grieve and always ask her children how she can help them.
Back home, The Seewald family is heading to Vold vision for Ben to have laser eye surgery. The procedure goes well and Ben is thrilled with the results.
John and Abbie are getting together with Austin and Joy to ride a carriage to see Christmas lights. Abbie is six weeks away from her due date and looking for words of wisdom. Joy says that it's strange giving advice to her brother.
