FRC president Tony Perkins reacted to Duggar's resignation in a statement obtained by Fox News.
"Today Josh Duggar made the decision to resign his position as a result of previously unknown information becoming public concerning events that occurred during his teenage years.
"Josh believes that the situation will make it difficult for him to be effective in his current work. We believe this is the best decision for Josh and his family at this time. We will be praying for everyone involved," concluded Perkins.

Your family is in the eyes of social media everyday...all of you will have to try your best to FORGIVE AND FORGET all the negative comments about your recent situation. Most of society feels they are at right to judge others. As sad as it is I doubt that will ever change. Just keep praying. Always remember that this season shall pass....God Bless!
ReplyDeleteRemember your work that you were called to do. Don't give up!! Also remember the punishment that Jesus had to endure. I am praying for you and your family. In todays society people are just cruel and mean. It is very hard to move forward. The sad part is some of them are probably doing the same thing. However you must remember you are a testimony to others!!
ReplyDeleteNot sure why he resigned. Sounds like her is very good at "family research."
ReplyDeleteYou are all in my thoughts and prayers. I understand your situation in part as I have had a something similar happen in years gone by. It's not easy to move one, but it can be done in time. My heart goes out to you. It pays to be vigilant and very observant at home. God be near and bless you.
ReplyDeleteJosh, I am sad that you felt led to resign and that it was accepted. God will open other opportunities to serve him. Our prayers are with you in this difficult time. Remember that none are without sin and we have all come short of the glory of God - but he loves us anyway enough to send his only son to die in our stead and that includes you and your sins.
ReplyDeleteMay God bless and keep you and your family.
Josh, you are in my thoughts and prayers! Stay strong! You have many fans that believe in you! People need to learn to forgive!
