Birthday dinner for Irish twins

Jordyn and Josie are almost a full year apart. Jordyn was born on December 18th while Josie was born on December 10th.

 Jim Bob and Michelle are currently down in Central America with Jana and some of their younger children.

 They decided to celebrate their girls birthday at a local pizza hut!

Duggars Mission Trip 2018

The Duggar family has been in Central America since December 5th! 

Recap: Joy gets engaged

Derick and Jill invite Derick's side of the family over to the guest house. They are getting ready for another short visit to Central America before baby #2 arrives. The couple decides to give Derick's mom their keepsakes for right now until they return. The couple announces their son's name which will be Samuel Scott. They say that Samuel was the first judge of Israel and it also means hears from God. Jill has a lot to do on her to-do list and has the girls come over to help her. Derick decides that it's time to cut his hair since it's viewed differently in Central America so he has his wife cut his hair. Derick thinks that it's going to be hard to adjust to short hair again. Jill reveals that she is sad about the haircut but also like changes.
Jinger decides to put together a care package to send to her family back home. She buys many things like clothing to food. When the package arrives to the Duggar family home, everyone is thrilled to get it. They are missing Jinger so much.
It's time to see the Dillard family off. Jeremiah says that it's hard to see one sibling missing. Derick and Jill film a small clip on the way down to Central America. When they arrive to Central America, they are greeted by many friends and it's a joyful reunion.
Austin is getting ready to propose to Joy since now his house just sold. He enlist the help of his father and Aaron, who is a close friend, to haul the items that he needs for the proposal. They managed to get everything ready.
To keep Joy distracted, Jessa has her come over to help with the kids. Jessa says that her sister is great with the little ones and loves helping. Joy reveals that they have both agree to allow God to control the size of their family. Right before the proposal, Joy returns home to pick up Jennifer and Johannah since she thinks that it's a horseback riding outing. Austin says that she makes him feel complete and calms him down. After they have been riding for a while, Austin has them stretch their legs and ask the girls to run ahead. Austin blindfolds Joy to head to the proposal site. He asks her to marry him and she says yes. The ring has a diamond in it that has been in the family for five generations.
Austin's father appears and gives the couple a big hug before allowing the couple to enjoy the dinner cooked by his friend, Aaron.
Later on, Joseph heads to ask Kendra's father permission to start courting and he agrees to it. The boys reveal that they have been praying and talking about entering a courtship for a while.

One month until three years

Derick and Jill are quickly approaching their third wedding anniversary. They are currently living in Central America and will return soon for the birth of their second son.

All about Israel: 23 months old

Israel is just one month away from being two years old! We have a little bit of update on Israel!

Since moving back to Central America, Jill has revealed that Israel has been fighting a little bit of a cold.

He developed a low-grade fever which was caused by an eye infection.  According to Jill, he had one when he was eight months old but this one was not as bad. Jill also revealed that they had a few fires ant bits. Jill also revealed that Israel accidentally got burn by hot water when he tried to play with it.

Dillards return to Centeral America

The Dillards are heading to Central America after being home since August 2016.

Last week, we shared an update on the Dillard family's future plans. Derick and Jill shared on their website an update on their plans. 

Well yesterday, Derick and Jill shared a new photo of their son looking at the tarmac before taking off. The couple have stated that they will be back right before their second son's birth in July.

Back to Central America

The Dillards are planning to go back really soon but they are planning to return before the birth of their second child, a little boy, who is due to arrive in July! 

 

Returning Home

As the family celebrated Jennifer's birthday on Tuesday, the family revealed that Jennifer chose to wait to celebrate her birthday party this weekend when Derick and Jill are home!

18 months later

On December 21st marked Derick and Jill's 18 month of marriage! We were super busy with the blogging "Jill and Jessa: Counting on" that we missed their 18 month update.

Since our last wedding update (12 months of marriage); Derick and Jill have moved their family down to Central America!  

As of November 2015, Derick and Jill have said that they are not expecting baby #2! 

How long will the Derick and Jill be gone?

Derick and Jill just left yesterday for Central America. They had returned to the US in Early September. Derick and Jill revealed that they will be gone for a few months before returning again! :) 

 We will be updating on them as soon as we can!

Joy Anna takes over!

Joy Anna had decided that it was time to go visited Jill, Derick and Israel down in Central America. Her visit has been over two weeks there.

Back to Central America

Derick and Jill are headed back to Central America with Israel, Joy Anna and Carlin Bates. Derick and Jill came up to the states for some business meetings with Ben and Jessa. Then the couples headed to Tennessee for a wedding of Brandon and Michaella.
