Recap: Sleepless in Laredo


Another wedding is on the way, so John and Abbie have Jana and Laura be in charge of the wedding preparations for the special day. Jana and Laura are about to show the arbor that Jedidiah and Jeremiah built for the wedding. Jana says that Laure is a good friend of theirs and have included her as one of the sisters. The boys have the living room set up as an altar and the girls add the décor and flower to showcase was it will look like at the church. Lauren did the flowers which are fake but made to look real.
The theme of the wedding is love is in the air and the reception will be held in the airplane hanger near Abbie’s home in Oklahoma. They are planning to visit the hanger to decided where the airplane will sit and how to fit the bathrooms for their guests will be at.
Down in Laredo, Jeremy and Jinger are trying to get Felicity to sleep for the night. Jinger reveals that with how many siblings she had you would think that she would have it down but that’s not the case. She says that it’s a lot of responsibility and you have to do it every day. Jeremy and Jinger reveal that their daughter is a chil baby and smiles and laughs a lot. Jinger has some news to share that she has stopped drinking coffee for her health. She says that she might return to having a slip here and there. Jeremy reveals that he is very fond of coffee. He is close with his coffee and feels that they have bonded to a new level since you did not appreciate each other beforehand.
Josiah and Lauren have some news to share. They are expecting! Lauren reveals that she took a test at 1:30am and it came up positive, so they went to the store to get more test to be sure. The next day, they are ready to announce it to both of their families along with Kendra’s family. Lauren gets a plain shirt and irons on cursive letters that read “mama in the making.”
Ben is currently taking online classes and have taken a part time job of helping Michelle homeschool the youngest Duggar children. Today’s lesson is recipe fractions. They head to the store to buy the ingredients that they need to make a North African dish called tagine-style chicken. The kids had to multiply the fractions to make fourty serving meal instead of four.
Michelle praises her son-in-law with being patient and calm. Michelle still sticks with the kids as Ben teaches them. Jordyn reveals that she likes school but doesn’t know why. Josie says that she doesn’t have a favorite subject. Jessa reveals that Michelle was the primary teacher but there were times that she would bring in someone else for a special project. Jedidiah says that it would get hectic sometimes since they would get on each other’s nerves occasionally. It did teach them patience. Jackson reveals that he loves being homeschool. He believes that it’s the better way of schooling that you could ever do.

They return back from the store and get to cooking. They are running on Duggar time and scramble to get the cooking finished before the group arrives. Josiah reveals that it’s hard to surprise family since Josie and all the of them ask if they are pregenat and they ask all the time. It’s a Duggar thing. When everyone arrives, Lauren reveals her shirt and her sister notices the writing. It takes a short time for them to reveal the news. Lauren’s parents are on cloud nine since this is the first grandchild for Lauren’s parents.
Everyone loves the food the younger kids make.
