Recap: Lauren finds her dress

Jeremy and Jinger head to the birthing center where they hope to have their baby. Since Jinger was the one of two babies deliver at home, she and Jeremy have chosen not to follow that route because she doesn’t feel comfortable with it. The couple heads to Amazing Baby to find out the gender of their child. The couple learns that they are having a baby girl. As many of you know that Jim Bob and Michelle haven’t had a granddaughter since 2015 so the couple knows that her family is going to be thrilled about the newest granddaughters.

It’s time to celebrate Jana and John’s 28^th birthday and they want to go on a ski trip. They bring Michelle, Jim Bob, the Seewalds, the Forsyths, Jedidiah, Jeremiah, Jason, James, Justin, Jackson, Johannah, Jennifer, Jordyn, Josie, Tyler, Mackynzie, Michael, Elijah and Laura to come along celebrate. The family heads up to Colorado in their bus. Jana knows that it’s hard to get people together and now often just whoever can make it or come.

Jana and John are easy to compare since Jana was rowdy and got into trouble a lot. Jana reveals that she was sticking up for John David by telling them to be nice. Jessa added that their personalities have grown into something similar. They are both very opinionated. John reveals that his sister used to pull I am older than you all the time but now he can pull it too and she doesn’t like it. The family enjoys a birthday lunch and hits the slopes. For many of you know that the Bates (personal friends of the Duggars) like to wear skirts when they are skiing however the Duggar family do not. Jessa reveals that they typically wear skirts but certain activities they were other items. On their first day they take ski lessons and practice what they learn. Josie and Justin take it up easier. Austin is asked who the worst skier and picks is to plead the fifth since he is living with her.

Michelle and Joy decide to stay at the lodge with the little ones. Austin admits that he missed his wife during the skiing portion. During one of their nights, the older siblings and married couples head for food and Pictionary. They reveal that the words have something to do with the twins and things that they have done. The game turns competitive and they all say that Jana is the most competitive. One of the words is chicken coop which Jana and James built. Jana reveal that the chickens got attacked by other animals and now she has ducks. John’s team won and takes Jana a minute to compose herself. The family revealed that this was one of their favorite birthday trips that they have. They really enjoyed spending time together.

As the family returns from their trip, Michelle joins Lauren, her bridemaids and her parents to head to the White dress boutique. Lauren reveals that she shops with a purpose. She tries to be 15 minutes and that is it. Lauren knows that she wants crepe material and it needs to be fitted. There needs to be beads but no lace at all. It needs to have a modest high necklace. Lauren is going to be elegant and classic. Lauren comes out in a simple gown and has only back beads. Lauren reveals that she wants a grown to be more to her face than her body. Her father reveals that it’s more her but still loves the other dresses. Lauren reveals that her father is thoughtful and always says the right things.

Lauren reveals that the dress is something that she is looking for but is a little scared because in three months she will be married, and this could be the dress. She tries on another dress but goes back to the other one. Lauren reveals that she could not asked for a better dress.
