Baby name update

Ben and Jessa have picked a name for their little boy on February 9th according to Ben's mom, Guinn, and will be revealing it soon.

Baby Seewald is six days old as of today.

People maganize did an interview with Ben's parents Michael and Guinn right after the engagment news was revealed.
"When Michael and I had Ben, he was a great baby, but he was a real handful as a toddler," Guinn, 40, told PEOPLE. "He was very adventurous. He was a very opinionated kid."

Ben is the oldest child of Michael and Guinn. He has six youner siblings.

"He is mature and always has been," his father, Michael, 39, said. "We have tried to treat him like an adult growing up. He did kid things, but with adulthood in view. He has had that his whole life."

"He is ... doing well," Guinn said. "He is handling a full plate right now."
Like her brother and sister, Ben and Jessa decided to wait to hold hands until they were engaged.

"There is nothing in the Bible that says 'thou shalt court,' " Guinn said. "But we have raised our kids to know that someone else's heart is like a treasure, and you want to be careful with that other person and treat them with great respect. There is no perfect pattern. Treat other people as a gift. Honor God and your relationship."

"Jessa and I found out that Jill and Derick were bribing the younger Duggar kids with Skittles payment to be chaperones for them," Ben told PEOPLE this summer. "We had no idea that's why they had such an easier time of getting chaperones."

"How many kids they have is Ben and Jessa's decision, and they can figure that out," Michael said.

"I was the same age as Ben when I was going through the same thing," Michael said. "For me, it helped to mature me. A committed relationship does a lot to mature a young man. It does make them grow up a little bit. I can see that happening to Ben already."  People asked Michael and Guinn what they feel about Jessa who will be marrying into the family

Ben had a lot of things planned for his big day with Jessa Duggar. He asked Jim Bob if he could married his daughter.

"A few days before, he had given me a rose and asked me out on a date for the next night," Jessa, 21, tells PEOPLE. "But that night we had gone out with his parents and my parents. It was a surprise because I didn't know his parents were in town. But that night he gave me a box."

Inside the box was an iPad with a video Ben, 19, had recorded, telling her, "This is the first clue to the rest of your life."

"I had done a few things to throw her off track," Seewald tells PEOPLE. "Jessa is really good at figuring things out and I wanted to surprise her."

Ben insited the help of John David to take Jessa and Jinger to Eureka Springs. Jessa went to the golf course, park, trolley ride, train ride, and ended in Thorncrown Chapel where Ben was waiting.

"I walked in and he was standing there at the front," Jessa says. "I could barely talk. I knew he was going to propose. I cried."

Now that Jessa and Ben are engaged, they are busy planning their wedding and it's going to easy since the family are using Jill's decorations. They are planning to use the saved money for their honeymoon.

Both sides of the family are celebrating the engagement

"Michael and I could not be more thrilled for Ben and Jessa," Seewald's mom, Guinn, tells PEOPLE. "Having similar goals and interests, they balance and complement one another beautifully. We praise God for the blessing of this relationship between Ben and Jessa."

"Ben asked me about asking Jessa to get engaged," Jim Bob tells PEOPLE. "We had already talked to Jessa about this and was 100 percent on board. I told him that Michelle and I were in agreement and supportive."
