All about Frederick: Introduction
It's been almost five years since we were doing updates for a Dillard baby and today we are adding Frederick to the mix.
He was born 7/7/2022 at 5:16pm weighing 7lbs. 6oz. and is 20 inches long. Fun fact his brother, Sam, was born on 7/8/2017. He shares his birthday with his uncle James.
Frederick means “Peaceful Ruler” and Michael means “Gift from God." The name Frederick also holds special meaning for Derick and Jill since it’s Derick’s name with “Fre” added to the front, to make “Fre-derick.” Similarly, Derick’s name is a variation of his late dad’s name, Rick, that his parents created by adding “de” to the front of Rick to spell, “de”-“rick,” literally meaning son “of” (de) Rick. They were excited to settle on the name Frederick and incorporate both Derick’s and his dad’s name, by just adding “Fre” to the beginning of Derick’s name.
The Dillards revealed that his birth was to be by C-section due later this month but he decided to come earlier than expected.

Updated July Birthdays and anniversary cover
Now that the Dillards have welcomed their newest member to their family. We have updated the birthday and anniversary
The Duggar family now have five grandchildren born in the month of July.

Four double birthdays
On July 11th, we announced the birth of Derick and Jill's little boy and many of you noticed that the baby was born on July 7, 2022 on James's birthday.
James and Frederick have joined the double birthday club.
